Zach was a favorite cat who has now sadly departed. He was filled with affection and loved every other cat and every human he ever met. He is truly missed. This is a picture of him on the farm in Nova Scotia, keeping an eye on everything going on.
Ok first of all, I have seen those 80 year old grandma’s jumping out of planes and I am halfway to that age. I decided I don’t want to be 80 and getting my first tattoo, so Monday January 30, 2012 I took the plunge and got my RedCat tattoo.
When my husband and I met 20 years ago his nickname was Red and mine was Cat. As we were dating our friends began calling us Redcat when we would show up to places together. Once we got married we purchased a British short haired red tabby cat, really in honor of our unique couple nick name and to date he is the coolest cat we have ever known. I think the secret is he thinks he is a dog. I wanted the Tattoo initially because of our couple nickname, but the fact that our redcat has turned out to be so awesome helped as well.
I found a sample of what I liked online – YouTube of all places, under ’Simons Cat’ animation.
Kit Hall at Deluxe Tattoo in Chicago did a wonderful job. It’s is on my left wrist and I really love it more than anything.
